Departure from normals at Woodstock, CT:
oct 1: -7°F (60/37)
oct 2: -7°F (61/36)
oct 3: -10°F (60/32)
oct 4: -10°F (55/35)
oct 5: -10°F (56/34)
oct 6: -12°F (56/30)
Looks like the first 7 days of October will average about 10 degrees below normal here.
We've had a frost in 4 out of the first 6 days of the month when usually our first frost isn't until mid October. (Oct 10-20)
Looks like another chilly day tomorrow but then a slightly above normal day on Wednesday...the first time since September 29th.
Very cold OCT so far

Just a question are these departures from the average temp for the day or the departure from the normal high temperature for this time of year? Just checking.
