Hey

#1 Postby NJwx15 » Wed Oct 08, 2003 6:19 pm

Just joined, looks like another good board...I noticed a lot of the same faces from over at Wright-weather, which I've been at for the past 2 years under the name WinterNJ14. Anyway, I see no reason why the Eastern U.S. would not see another below average temp. and above average snowfall winter. However, the problem is what area gets the big time snows? It's really up in the air IMO , Ohio Valley/West PA, appalacians?, chicago/detroit or I95 area again??...If you ask me, I think all these regions will get a good dose of snow (atleast near average), but one of these regions given is gonna get hit more then the others. Well thats my thinking, I'd love to hear any comments

Hey, NJwx15. I thought I recognized you from WWBB. Glad you made you're way over here and hopefully the winter season will fulfill everyone's snow fixes. (Sorry I can't really offer any meteorological insights that far in the future).

Hey NJwx15! I agree that all those areas you mentioned will see at least normal levels of snowfall, and some will go above normal. Looks like a pretty good winter is on the way.

Nice 2nd board...

In fact, I think its a VERY close second to a WWBB which isn't as active, and still has a lot of crap posts going on.

Actually, I would say storm2k TIES wwbb for #1 board at this point, and we all know how I criticized every other wx board online...until now.

Greetings again NJ - your posts were always lively so at least you're not boring  I think you're right in that the Midwest is going to get the salt knocked out of them this winter. Those Great Lakers are going to get pounded :D
