First Freeze for the Gulf Coast?

VERMILION-
INCLUDING THE CITIES OF...ABBEVILLE...CROWLEY...LAFAYETTE...
MORGAN CITY...NEW IBERIA...ST MARTINVILLE
1030 AM CST SAT NOV 22 2003


.SUNDAY NIGHT...COOLER. MOSTLY CLOUDY WITH A 40 PERCENT CHANCE OF
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS...BECOMING PARTLY CLOUDY AFTER MIDNIGHT.
LOWS IN THE LOWER 40S.
.MONDAY...PARTLY CLOUDY. HIGHS IN THE LOWER 50S.
.TUESDAY...PARTLY CLOUDY. LOWS IN THE LOWER 30S. HIGHS IN THE LOWER

Looks like the low will be right around 32. Hopefully it will be cold enough to kill the mosquitos.

I went fishing yesterday and the only thing that was biting was the mosuitoes. The low projected by NWS here in Vancleave, MS is around freezing Tues. morning. :P

NWS now showing 30 degrees for the low Tuesday morning. The mosquito kill off is looking pretty good now!

Funny thing is that I just checked the first fall freeze maps for Louisiana...the November 25 line runs right through Lafayette. It just so happens that Tuesday is November 25! Check it out.

OHHHH yeah! BIG time mozzie problem out here in the oak tree swamp!!! Im done with them nasty biting things for the year... freeze dem lil butts off .. HA.. guess its a lil obvious I hate mozzies! oh and noseeums too.

Lowest low from me according to NWS is 55... :roll: *sigh* guess I cant get rid of the DEET just yet.

Is this for real I have been in my football playoff mode and forgot about the weather, I am sure ready for some cold weather here since my playoff fever as gone sheeeesh I am proud of my Cougars hated to see them lose like they did

Hey Brein, good to see you back. Yes the temps are for real it's gonna get cold in a few hours after a line of storms. I watched the stm game on tv, a really disappointing loss. LSU won yesterday so the national championship dream is still alive!

Cold front just blew in - was 84 degrees and now its 59 and still dropping

lol...how can you not like the cold...i start going through cold air withdrawls when temps are above 40 degrees.
