Without getting too much into it, the proximity and formation of the low will be key. Take a look at the isotachs off the eastern side of the low. A strong(emphasis on strong) easterly wind, note the rising temperatures over southern and central new jersey and into eastern Pennsylvania. This will be a major inhibitor of snow for the coastal plain, I.E most of New Jersey, Southern and Eastern PA (except for higher elevations) and anything south of Philly and possibly southern new england. The areas that would suit best with this scenario would be higher elevations and further inland away from the influence of the marine airmass.

Do you think it will come together, the New York and Philadelphia meteorologists don't think it is going to snow. I really want some good snow, will it happen? Other people think it will, i'm confused, will the weather channel change there forcast from rain to snow?
