I'm worried about snow truning to sleet earlier than predict

#1 Postby Bird-Bean » Fri Dec 05, 2003 1:07 am

I'm looking at current radar of PA and I see snow about 20 miles to the south of me. Should be here within the next hour or so. Temp is 33 and dewpoint is 27. Looking at Intellicast radar looks like non snow, frozen precip is almost to the Mason Dixon line which is about 40 miles south of me. Im worried Ill get a couple of hours of snow while the sleet advances north. This would really cut down on first snowfall amounts which are basically 3 - 6 inches and no sleet or rain mix till late morning predicted here. Hope the sleet line stays in MD for a while.
