Does it look good for a BIG snowstorm for the east coast right After New Years?

Things should get interesting give or take a few days around New Years with a trough setting up in the east.

Too early to say, but there is the potential for a storm around that timeframe. At this point it could be snow, could be a wintry mix, or could be rain. I would think by Sunday or Monday the picture will be a little clearer.

Right... now is just a little too early to be pinpointing all things including precip. type, locations impacted, etc. but keeping checking back. As it gets closer the knowledgable people on this board will keep you updated. :)
