A Few Questions For The Experts

#1 Postby Anonymous » Wed Dec 31, 2003 8:46 am

1. Will the trough in the West ever move to the East? If so, when?

2. Will the southern jet become more active/stormy tapping Gulf and Atlantic moisture? If so, when?

3. Why did such sources such as NCEP and NOAA point to West as being above average temps, when a trough has been in place and they are below normal?

4. Last year the trough was in the East and ridge in the West, can we expect the majority of the winter to follow this pattern?

Thank you in advance for any feedback.
