with 534 DM thicknesses down to south georgia...it would be a nice set-up for northern florida...but its more of an example why the GFS should not be run PERIOD.

As long as the GFS can raise spirits, it has value. Hopefully, at a minimum, you will get to enjoy some shots of cold that will remind you that it truly is winter.

Yes and the GFS was similar in that respect as H85 temps get down to around +6C on WED (day 5)

I'm happy to see that parts of the Midwest will be enjoying accumulating snow in the near future. The Northeastern U.S. will also be getting quite cold next week.
