A rain event for E NC, no doubt, but I don't think it's quite time to give up for the western DC suburbs yet. We may well see rain, but if there's some cold air damming we could just manage some ice perhaps.

I'd take freezing rain plus a hefty helping of sleet with no snow, but that would probably be too fortunate for N VA. I do however agree that western suburbs of DC will get ice.

We're just gonna have to hope and hope hard that it will only be a quick light rain here. When you think about it, all of the other non-rain events here have been quick and light too. Why not this one as well? lol
