Another potential freezing rain event for North GA on Sunday

#1 Postby GaWxDude » Fri Jan 30, 2004 6:28 pm

There is once again the potential for a freezing rain event (probably not enough precip for another icestorm), for North GA. Right now i'm gonna say anyone along and north/east of a Jasper to Canton to North Atlanta to Conyers to Madison to Augusta line should watch out for the potential for freezing rain, a possible glaze of ice on elevated exposed surfaces such as trees, powerlines, and cars. Ground will likely be too warm for any ice accumulation. Anyway, that's my first call. Any thoughs?
