I done busted open the t-shirt chest up in the attic. I am gonna need these t-shirts come Friday with highs near 60. WOW next week, could be a little milder. I think there could be a SECS for the SNE, NE region early March but it will probably be just a sleet to heavy rain for VA then REAL SPRING ONSET!!! HELLO 70's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HELLO, OBX-style jebwalk, with an honest to goodness 73/55 T/Td spread!!!

Sure it is------But Woodbridge is going to be a little too mild for snow, I think. Probably some sleet/mostly rain for us here in north eastern VA. We're a little too close to the Potomac River.

I'm a true believer in the early March MECS-----But I think it will be mainly heavy rain for me----But WATCH OUT up in the Northeast!!!! The early March MECS will unload CRIPPLING snows there!!!!!!

It'll be a MECL (Major East Coast Low) and a prolific rain-producer at that, for Woodbridge.

It's been a fairly tough winter---storm after storm has missed us here----but I'll live, and just think, we've gotten all these rotten storms outa the way now. I bet 2004-2005 is gonna be a crippling bitter cold glacial winter for N VA!!!!! We'll be beggin' for a break LOL!!!

Here's to next winter-------And HELLO, SPRINGTIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I dunno, Jeb, do you remember the winters of 97/98 through 01/02? Apparently Old Man Winter is actually capable of screwing us for multiple winters in a row!

Yeah, I was afraid of that. Climate change is a real bummer.

I agree, he is a great met...

But i think he may be low on eastern Long Island

Heavy bands setting up to South

we may get alot of heavy wet snow in a 6 hour period

Im thinking 4-6 by morning

Yea, I have to say DT, that you really had this one right, unlikely essentially everyone. Heaviest snow axis was sufficiently far east and totals were sufficiently low. Good job.

Not sure what the snow totals were in eastern LI and what they will be in the Mass Cape area, but it looks like it was a great final call - at least for NJ and DE.
