Texas Weather from 2/14 thru 2/21

#1 Postby CaptinCrunch » Wed Feb 18, 2004 1:11 pm

It was just this past Valentines Day that we in N. Texas received 5 to 7 inches of heavy wet snow, our first of the season. It was a Beautiful site but it didn't last long as it was all gone by Sunday afternoon with temps in the upper 40's to lower 50's, now just 3 days later we are heading for a high's in the lower 70's by Thursday, then back again to the mid 50's by Saturday.

The moral to this story is if you live in TEXAS and don't like the weather you have, just wait because it will change in a hurry. :D

This Afternoon: Mostly sunny, with a high near 70. South southwest wind between 14 and 16 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 51. South wind around 16 mph.

Thursday: Partly cloudy, with a high around 74. Windy, with a south wind 15 to 18 mph increasing to between 25 and 28 mph. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph.

Thursday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after midnight. Chance for precipitation is 30%. Partly cloudy, with a low near 52. Windy, with a south southwest wind between 23 and 29 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph.

Friday: Partly cloudy, with a high around 65. Windy, with a west southwest wind between 22 and 25 mph.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 38. West southwest wind 20 to 23 mph becoming north northwest.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 57. North northwest wind between 11 and 20 mph.
