2 possible storms left then spring for sure........

#1 Postby molecules » Wed Feb 18, 2004 5:49 pm

Rob G. form FOX news is claiming we have a favorable chance for a snowy 1st half of March.

My opinion on it all is the -NAO and Block in Greenland. How strong? timing? and Jet Streams? The 1st week of March most models are leaning toward something? Maybe something big?

The storm next week has potential, but I think it will be another southern runner.

Any thoughts????

I think winter is over here in the deep south. Our big chance at snow was this past Saturday and it barely missed us......but it missed us nonetheless.
After tons of rain lately, it sure was nice outside today........sunny and low 60's. :)

I agree with you Kathy that our winter is basically over. However we always get one more good cold snap which will probably come late this month or early March so don't go planting any flowers lol.

Next week's storm has possibilities, and then there is potential for something in the first week of March. I doubt both of these are complete misses or all rain for my area.
