Is Winter over in the East?
Because if it is.... then I will break out the shorts and t'shirts. HM on WWBB thinks there will be one more storm for the East Coast winter-wise between March 5-15, but I think he is wrong. Oh well, Mother Nature is paying us back for all the snow we got in the winter of 2002-2003... BRING ON THE WARM WEATHER IF WINTER IS OVER!!! BRING IT!! SEVERE WEATHER SEASON HERE WE COME!! (65-70 on Saturday/Sunday here!)

Winter is over on March 20, and not a moment before. I am not sure where you live, so I am unable to comment on whether I feel you have a ligitimate chance to see snow or ice during March.
As for me, I believe there is an excellent chance for a March snow event (NW suburbs of Philadelphia, PA).

I am ready for some MARCHMADNESS!
I think NE still has a good chance for another snowstorm.
Spilt flow is interesting down the road!
Warm next week than back to a cold and stormy period in the beginning of March to about mid month. Thats the best period for another last shot for something to happen!

It really depends who you listion to,There is a major debate with WxRisk.com veris HM and a few other.WxRisk.com thinks winter is over for the east coast and the pattern does not support any return of cold. And that the NAO is to relyied on from forecasters. While on the other hand HM and a few others thinks we are going to have one more bount of winter in the 10-20 perild in March with the chances of one or two winter storms. So once again like we have seen all winter. No one really agrees amonges each other in the Long range. But in a winter where modles are not handeling Long range patterns forecasts well. Its to be expecked.Because each person has there own view on what the pattern may end up looking like. While in HM view it looks good for one last bount of winter. The way Dt see its it does it look all that great in his view.Again it just how we all interperate it in different ways.
My opinion on this is.We just have to wrait and see.No one is wrong until proven other wise.If March is above normal in temps in the east and little or no more snow fall. Then Dt gets his due. While if the cold does come and we get a winter storm or to in March then HM derserves his due.So we just have to see who is right in the end.
