Looking like 5 will do it. Its falling apart fast. So much for my biggest storm of the year. Argh! Well atleast i dont have to eat that crow because i did not hit the 6inch mark!!!! :lol:

Hello, I'm new here
I woke up to the same St patrick's day storm. I guess we were getting about 20cm here in Nova Scotia. We had wind last night and today though so we will have drifting - darn, I hate shoveling! Normally here in Nova Scotia in the Halifax area where I live we have rain and freezing rain all winter with the odd snow storm. The past few years we have actually had real snow! Today we are having what we call our Saint Patrick's day storm - we have it every year in eastern Canada. it is usually the last big storm of the winter for most of the maritime provinces. We can depend on having it - isn't that wierd?

Hi everyone. Just wanted to first say welcome to s2k wxgrrl. Glad you're here with us. I guess winter refuses to go away, huh??? hehe.

KOW, nice pics bud. Beats what I got becuase it was 35 degrees with ne winds of 10-25 mph and rain. A sickening day really. The last storm system that was worse than yesterday in terms of feeling was the March 20-22, 2001 nor' easter. We had 40-60 mph winds, 36 degrees with horizontal rain slamming me right in the side of the face. That hurts more than just a little bit. I would rather see 36 degrees with evaporative cooling, then snow. Rain and cold makes it feel worse practically.

Hello wxgrrl and welcome to Storm2K! :D Thanks for the kind words about the pics. Your getting the storm i had here yesterday that gave me the snow in those pics above. Before the storm the ground was bare. I look forward to hearing what todays storm brings you and as well how much snow you recieve there in the wintertime?
