Winter Weather Summary
POSTED: March 17, 2004 7:39 a.m.

Storm Leaving the Northeast..

The storm that left a foot and a half of snow in parts of the Plains two days ago, and the heavy snow in the Midwest and Northeast yesterday is now leaving, east of the New England coast. Easternmost New England will pick up an additional 1-3 inches today, before the storm finally exits.

The next disturbance tracking through the Midwest will leave one to as much as three inches of new snow across southern Wisconsin, northern Illinois, and northwestern Indiana, but the snow coming during the daylight hours today will not stick on roads.
