This is a great time for a pattern change...

#1 Postby Anonymous » Sun Oct 17, 2004 4:35 pm

Now a ridge will form over the East and a trough will develop in the West. I want the warm OBX conditions that I missed when I went to Nags Head and it was chilly!!! Plus, we want the ridge over the East US NOW, in October through November, then the trough hopefully comes back in mid/late December and we get to enjoy all that ferocious cold/snow from late December through March here in the East!! Yeah this is a wonderful time for a pattern change. I'll take Indian Summer right through mid December anytime, 'cause then it means the East will have a seriously frigid, snowy winter late December through March!!

YEAH BRING IT!!! BRING IT!!!

Not always! It looks like the Ridge over the East that we will see for the next 2 weeks will bring a pretty chilly November. A big change is in store for November it looks like.

This should go under the winter weather section or weather watch?
