Looks like a possible snow event tonight ...
It is currently 36 F after a high of 37 F today, and this is at 3:30 pm PST. We have precipitation moving into the area (on the coast right now), and already some outlying areas 50-100 miles inland from the coast are seeing a rain and snow mix. Hopefully, our temperature drops a few more degrees, and we could see a considerable amount of snow (4-5 inches looking at what the rain predictions were for tonight). I will post updates here if conditions change.

W13 wrote:Well, it looks like it will remain rain here throughout the rest of tonight (started as snow or rain/snow in most areas), but there is still the slight possibility the temperature will dive 3 degrees and we will get a little bit of snow. We can only hope ...
I will pray for yall some snow.

Well, it didn't snow last week, but we now even have several even better chances this weekend. We have a strong system coming in today which will bring widespread rain thru tommorow afternoon, until the cold front passes by dropping our temps at least 10 degrees. This will mean we will be below freezing as more showers move thru the region.
Then, on Sunday night and Monday, we have a pretty strong system coming from the Gulf of Alaska which will bring widespread snow to the area at both of those time periods. We don't know yet how much actual acumulation we will recieve, but I expect we will get a better idea tommorow morning or mid-afternoon. I will post it here.

It is really starting to look like tonight will be out best chance at snow of the season. We are already at 36 F at 6:20 PM. A storm that was supposed to come in off the coast decided to dive to the south and then come up with rain or snow as they are saying now. I sure hope the third time is the charm!
