Well the stormed moved though and we ended up with 27 centimeters of snow almost a foot of clean powder. Great news for al the ski bums up in Canada right now. The mountain we ski/board has a nice base of almost 5 fee right now!!! I can tell u I will be goign out. Still not very cold here. But that will come hopefully. The forcast isnt looking great for much snow accumulations in the next week but that will change hopefully.  I wish I had some snow to share with those in need of it right now. I am just happy we got a good dumping :D :D :D :D Bye for now will report back when we get another dumping!!!!

Y'all can keep it! Enjoy it! I don't ever intend to move where I have to drive in it, shovel it, curse it or have anything at all to do with it. Tornadoes, floods - those I can handle, but I despise snow! <shudder>

Well, I don't mind snow, but it gave me a scare today. I started sliding through an intersection in my car and came within inches of having a collision with another car. Thankfully they saw me heading towards them and were able to swerve out of the way. 8-)

Exactly why I don't want to be any where near the stuff, nystate! It's been a while since we had a good icing here in Houston. Really dangerous stuff, but the natives still insist they can drive on ice. The local reporters have a field day. Yipe!

A few inches of snow and ice.

While the weather patterns may be completely different (I don't follow metereology on a macroscopic scale the way many here seem to), the forecast where I live is eerily similar to a certain 1998 storm I'd rather not relive.

We're talking an inch of ice and a few of snow at least over the next 24 hours.
