Florida Weather

#1 Postby wthrmilagro » Tue Dec 21, 2004 9:47 pm

I have been seeing and hearing all kinds of weather problems in the midwest and the north, but when does Florida see some action. I don't care either way, but it would be nice to see some action.

We don't get anything down here :grr: . All the Arctic blasts that are supposed to give us a good ol fashioned hard freeze fizzle before they get down here. Im thinking of moving to Gainesville or Tallahassee, they have good southern winters.

I think we may see some thunder storms thursday-friday, but heck I dont know much about winter weather, Im an African transplant living in Florida... Winter to me just means I wear sox.

NWS in Jax has my area in the 40's for christmas eve with rain... I'll take that over 70's and humid

I just hope the cold stay's away from the citrus and nursery growers down south, I think the canes did enough damage to our agriculture, a hard freeze would just put a lot of farms in trouble... (Sorry Scorpion) ;)
