I knew it! *slaps self*

#1 Postby southerngale » Thu Dec 23, 2004 3:37 pm

It looks like our snow chances have gone down the toilet. I knew better than to get my hopes up and get excited, but SO MUCH was pointing toward it happening. NWS, locals, forecasters and mets...everyone seemed to agree that we had a good chance. I knew it was too good to be true and I should have listened to my gut feeling. What a disappointment for us Gulf coasters.
:(

Oh well, at least Brent will be happy. None of us get snow.

I know how ya'll feel... Countless times in the past few years I've gotten all hopeful and nothing has happened or it's been less than expected. :(

Brent, you should be ashamed. Poor Kelly's heart is
broken, and, you're just poking fun at her :rarrow: pain. :larrow:

Local weatherman Rob Perillo only gives us a 10% chance at snow but he did say "never under estimate the power of the sub-tropical jet". It's a long shot I know but stranger things have happened in weather. Just sprayed down a metal table outside and it turned instantly to ice...my own winter precip! Weatherbug already showing 28 degrees and it's only 5:30 brrrrrr!
