Let the games begin!!!!

#1 Postby Dave C » Sun Dec 26, 2004 4:35 pm

After receiving only a dusting today from ocean affect snow the real snow has developed as of 4pm locally. North of Boston received as much as 5 in. from ocean affect while very little fell south of the city. Cape Cod even saw rain showers as milder atlantic air invaded. Paul Kocin mentioned a narrow swath that fell near 1 ft. in SE Virginia and feels this band will set up over SE MAss tonite. Looks like an "all nighter" for me!!!

Wow, Dave. Since my son lives in Boston, I'd been watching the NWS who only had forecasted up to 6-8 inches storm total. Now I see it's been upped to may be 1 foot and with stronger winds.

Have fun. Come into Chat tonite and you'll likely have some snow-watch friends online.
