SHOW LOW, 13 miles to my NW, made it on The Weather Channel for the FLOODING RAINS we're having MAJOR street flooding is happening as I type this, warm rains on snowpack in the high country is causing MAJOR, MAJOR flooding here in town, as they say, "STUFF runs downhill!"
Now, parts of Sedona, The Village of Oak Creek have been evacuated due to heavy flooding.......more to come!
Considering the fact that the overall precipitation deficit for the past 9 years is equal to about 2 full years of rainfall in AZ, no the Drought is nowhere near being over and besides, we need heavy snow in the mountains not heavy rain since it's the snowmelt that fills resevoirs.
Yup Steve, your absouletly right AND there's MORE FRIGGIN' "RAIN" in the forecast, actually, 2 MORE warm systems......what is causing ALL of these systems to be WARM, MAN....had this past system been ALL snow I would have been diggin OUT for DAYS, INSTEAD, I'm hauling DIRT to save my HOUSE from the flooding!
