Capt.Crunch What about NTX this week?

#1 Postby ETXHAMXYL » Sun Jan 09, 2005 9:18 pm

Hey Capt. Haven't seen you post in awhile? What about NTX this week? How cold will it get and for how long? As usual the local guys are very skemish on deciding those questions.
So what are your maps and graphs showing for our area? especially for the weekend? any ice, snow?
Love your forecasts!

Hey everyone, I don't get on the much during the weekend, I spend that time with family and trying to relax. :D

Now for the coming week? It still looks good for a major cold snap by Wednesday night. I still think high's will only be around 32 for Sat & Sun the and mid to upper 30's for Fri and Mon. either way you cut it, it will be COLD for the weekend. At this time I really don't think there will be enough moisture left after the Artic front passes to cause any problems on the roads, but if the upper low coming out of So. Cal tracks just slightly futher south and is slower than forecasted then it could tap some gulf moisture and bring it up over the cold air after it arrives and could cause some iceing.
