Snow timeframe for Philly- Any opinions.
Any opinions on when the heaviest snow will be occurring in Philadelphia? I have a 10:45 PM flight leaving from Atl. Saturday night, arriving in Philly at 12:40 AM. I'd hate the thought of spending money on good tickets to not even make it to the game. I just heard they plan on closing the Philly airport tomorrow at 1:00 PM, so the Falcons have to fly out early tomorrow AM. Was so looking to interact w/ those wonderful fans in Philadelphia. I appreciate any responses. Go Falcons!!

Accumulations have been raised to at least 10 to 14 inches of snow. The snow is supposed to taper off early Sunday morning. You would be landing right at the height of the storm - I don't think that will happen.
I heard that the Falcons "landed" today in Philadelphia.
I figured that they came in early due to the snow storm.
I hate to say this but I don't think that you'll be seeing the game live in Philadelphia. I will be amazed to see how many fans are in the stadium when the game starts.
GO EAGLES!!

To beat the storm, the Falcons will fly from Atlanta to Philadelphia 4½ hours ahead of schedule, leaving at 10 a.m. instead of 2:30 p.m.

ga_ben - It's probably best that your flight doesn't come through. I'd hate to see you fly up here just to be harassed by the Philly fans and be disappointed after Vick and the falcons get destroyed on Sunday.

Yes, that might be true. However, we don't have quarterbacks who wear pink ladies undies, and sleep with their night-light on--like they do up there in PA.

Just making sure!
Thanks for looking out for me, Stephanie! I appreciate it. I assure you, a little trouble from a Phillies fan is nothing....I can handle it.
'Twill be really funny come Sunday night....when ya'll get the snow, and we get the game!!

Is there any rule against gloating over a Championship win to the sore losers?
Just asking. I need to have my gloat all polished and ready Sunday night.

PS. The repartee about the game is MUCH better than discussing the inches upon inches of snow I won't be seeing (except on TV) this weekend. So what if the other side is a bit abusive....?
It's TRULY abusive to watch EVERYONE else in the eastern part of this country hunker down for a blizzard....when it's 54 degrees outside here, and not much chance the snow will show on my doorstep.

Hmmm.... I seem to remember the last time the Braves and the Phillies met in the NLCS. Who won that one? Was it the Braves? Oh no, that's right, it was the Phils.
Well...even you must admit that our Bravos have been quite the title hog over the last oh....decade or so, huh? A decade. 10 years. Hmmm. Maybe it was just time to give someone else a shot.

That's cool. If WE win, I GLOAT. If Philly wins, YOU gloat.
Difference is (I suspect), that I'm better at losing gracefully than you are (not that the Braves have given me a whole lot of practice at that)...and it's looking like our Falcons will continue their fine winning tradition.
