it will be short lived, for at least three days, temperatures will feel so much better than that past couple of weeks. On Monday-temps are expected to reach 48 but 50 is quite possible, tuesday temps will begin to drop to 43 for a high and that is slightly below average. In fact 48 is almost average for this time of the year, but we have been below average for 10-12 days if not well below average.

Then winter strikes back quickly, on Wednesday and Thursday temps will both reach 37 and be Friday and Saturday temps will be 35 and 31 for highs so back to cold winter again.

Not supposed to get above freezing here this coming week, as a matter of fact it could get below zero some nights. Already set another record low of -1F this morning.

Today was the most beautiful day I've seen in months..in the upper 50's with crystal clear skies! Still, there were a number of people out ice fishing on the lakes in Madison, a bit scary considering parts of the lakes are ice-free, but they seemed to be OK. Tomorrow will be back to reality (and then some) when temperatures fall into the 20's by mid-afternoon. YUCK!

One place in Washington to my East (North Bend) got up to 77!

EDIT: I was in the low 70's. It's amazing to think that winter is still going strong for some parts of the country. Currently Seattle is running 7.6F above average for March.

Yeah Scorpion, in fact, on Wed Mar 9, Miami posted a record low maximum for the date of just 63F.
Many other cities were stuck in the 50s all day in Florida on Wednesday with the rain.

Pendleton OR 68F
Walla Walla WA 69F
