#1 Postby Jrodd312 » Sat Mar 05, 2005 11:01 pm

Many forecasters here in philly are saying that we could see significent snowfall somewhere between the thursday to saturday timeframe. Any thoughts about this?

gfs shows a storm threat on the 12th, which i believe will the date for the next storm because the 12th will be the coldest next week and models develop a coastal storm

I like both thursday and saturday to be two seperate snow events, although the Thursday clipper may just mainly be a reinforcing shot of cold for the east after our thaw early this week, if it does snow with that system it would be very widespread, but also extemely light... With that said there is a danger for any Clipper to explode... Remember it is March

The saturday could be a big storm with cold in place from the clipper that arrives just two days early this could be the set-up for that big storm that we've all been looking for

the gfs changes too much but it has a general idea of the Saturday big possible storm but the gfs has many details to change and fine tune.
