I have to say that I am uterly amazed at the parade of storms and particularly their southern tracks past this week, not only the number of storms, but the frequency and intensity is something that I have never heard of... Strangely enough though when looking at the GFS snow accumulation forecast it's as if its too warm south of New York State where the is 20" + of snow (a glacier, if you will) and then to the south only 3" once paralell to Philadlephia, I see this as a mistake by the GFS not recognizing the amount and intesity of cold that is coming this week after our brief warm-up...
However this whole situation does bring up some interesting possibilities about how this month may end, particularly if it can cold enough for snow in places down to the mid atlantic... It could end up being a very very snowy month...
There is alot of excitment around as I've said many times and will continue to say this is the perfect pattern, only problem now is... It needs to live up to it's potential
