Here in Sierra Vista at an average elevation of 4500' amd at latitude 31.6N, we have seen flakes in the air as early as October 26 (1996) and as late at May 7th (1995) with ground cover on April 5th 1998. Our earliest 32F reading has been on October 26th and the latest on April 30th.

URBAN HEATING is horrible in dallas and DFW airport especially dallas. DFW airport it is pretty bad. if it is 40 at the airport it can be 35 in denton and hillsboro and greenville in the suburbs. the heat island is arlington to dallas to duncanville thats where the worst urban heating is. a coulple of days ago for like 3 nights straight it was like 40- 46 at the airport and 34-39 in denton and hillsboro remember that its not always that bad but some of the records are kind a off but urban heating is not as bad at dfw airport then it is at dallas love field but its still pretty bad at dfw.... some of the records are kind of off because of urban heating but its like that in a lot of cities at least the bigger population ones.....
