Tuesday Wednesday Storm is Last Chance for Midwest!!!

#1 Postby Gothpunk-IL-WX » Sat Mar 12, 2005 10:59 pm

The possible, but increasingly likely storm to hit the corn belt will be the last time this season of a good Snowfall hitting cities like Kansas City, Witicha, KS, Saint Louis, MO and in to Indianapolis and Dayton, OH. NAM and GFS along with European at least try to have some agreement, While the 00 UTC GFS is still coming out it shouldn't change a whole lot this model run, but it still could. I see a snowfall of up to 6-10 inches in southern and Central Kansas and a good 4-8 inches all the way through Missouri to western Ohio, mainly south of Quincy and Chicago, IL but again things could change. It will be very close at least. After this storm, 850MB heights increase and a more late spring like pattern blast in kicking off Severe Thunderstorm season about 8-10 days from now, with near summer time warmth. More Updates coming soon. (Sorry Craig looks like this one may miss you, but if the 2 storm is cold enough that could bring you some wintry precipation by next weekend.)
