TWC talks about possible noreaster compliments of Wilma

#1 Postby luvwinter » Mon Oct 24, 2005 12:25 pm

On the weather channel they are talking about possibility of Noreaster from Wilma combining with an area of low pressure off the east coast. Does anyone have any info or thoughts on this?

Check post below, but there's winter storm watches all across the inland Northeast, and gale warnings along the coast.

Snow falling in and east of Pittsburgh from what I have heard. I left Pittsburgh Airport about 945 and it was very cold, windy, and rain was mixing with snow.

I got a report (since I work for the DOT) that PA 26 between Huntingdon and State College is closed due to very heavy snow.

THE INFAMOUS DRY SLOT

appears to be right over me. No rain or wind. If this were December or January I'd be irritated because the snow stopped.

Wilma has slid on by the developing low. They will not mix. No superstorm this week.

currently 1/2 inch of snow on the ground (water equivilant is wicked high for the snow amount- probably 1/4 of an inch)

snow is coming down light to moderate.

I'm at 1000 feet in Keene

earlier today 2-3 inches of rain
