Snow and sleet
As of 9am it is snowing and sleeting here in Middleboro, temp has dropped to 37 and a raw NNE wind. Forecasters here really didn't expect any snow south of Boston but it's mixing in right now. Will update on conditions later today.

I hear that. ABC 5 and NECN have been particularly careless with this storm for no reason at all. Why not at least include the possibility of snow in their forecast instead of dismissing it completely?
The best was the ABC Channel 5 met who this very morning, apparently not understanding that precip would be working its way westward, took a look at the radar and basically told everyone, "Precip is well off the coast...SLIGHT chance of rain showers in areas west of the Cape." Never mind snow, he was saying rain was only about a 20% chance. NECN said pretty much the same thing.

hi
Snow continues to fall as of 8pm as cold air aloft lends it's support. 1 inch here on grassy surfaces. At 5pm it was 40 and raining in Worcester while it was snowing here and 35deg. Heavier precip. in coastal areas helped bring down colder air.
