Christmas Day weather
Hmmmm... could get a *little* interesting here with a frontal passage very early Christmas Morning, with cold air plunging in, and a little moisture nearby...

12z EURO bombs a trough-out over the eastern part of the country on Christmas. Whether this comes to fruition, I don't know. But, that certainly is an impressive looking trough on the 12z run.

Well Christmas in Texas "60's or maybe close to 70 UGGGGHHH but at least it will be sunny. Talk about mild but then again I have seen a warm muggy Christmas and a week later an icy cold New Years Day.
If you don't like the weather in Texas just wait a minute and it will change.
We only dream of White Christmases in Texas, but sometimes dreams can come true like it did for the Coast of Texas last Christmas.

Forecast high for here...........65° that's ONLY 25° ABOVE normal with NO SNOW in the forecast for the REST of the winter. The forecast high for Phoenix (180 miles to my south) is NOW 80 
Unfrigginbelievable.....I've NEVER in my 39 years of living in the high country (7200'+) have I ever seen a snowless winter...as they say, "There's a first time for everything!"

I used to live in Flagstaff in 1978-1979 with a view of the snow bowl outside my kitchen window and I had never seen so much snow. We were poor college students back then living in a trailer and my shampoo froze and the door froze shut. The snow was to the bottom of the trailer. During a big wind, the hotwater heater door (located on the outside back then) blew away and was never found.
I would love to visit and see the area again.

Well alot of debate here on the weather forums about christmas. All models are showing high pressure over us and so that alone should make it chilly but several models are now also starting to induce a northerly which veer easterly, which for our location is pretty much the holy grail if its from a cold source, which from several models it is.
Very intresting times, if it come soff we'll get our second month in a row thats below average, something that has not happened in several years
(we are in a similar postion in terms of AGW as the west of USA in terms of above average months, though November was below)

Well we still got 6 days, anything can happen. I really don't want rain, and thats the forcast for Sunday here. I don't mind it being warm, thats what I like about Florida, but it's always nice if the kids can out side and try out their new bike, roller blades, ect..... So warm and sunny would be just fine with me. Maybe it will stall sooner and we won't get any rain. I will keep my fingers crossed for you folks a little north of here for some of the white stuff for your Christmas. Good luck!
