I think we're screwed as far as accumulation...especially on roadways....I think we still will probably see some flakes, but my confidence is completely shot now on this deal. I hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see it happening. Dewpoint is up to 34 degrees....this stuff makes me not want to live here (and who wants a **** earthquake anyway?)

It is time out for forecasting. FACT: It is snowing at the 0C 850mb line right now in Extreme NW MS. I have ground confirmation of it!! Heavy precip rates have done the job!!! Let it ride to N AL!!! It is also snowing like crazy in West Memphis!! It is colder than the models are giving it credit for. More updates to follow!

West Memphis: 10 13:53 N 6 0.50 Snow Fog OVC003 33 31 30.08 1018.9 0.05

Memphis Airport: 1514 34 34 86 NNW/3 30.08 1/2 SNOW

Tunica, MS 1520 34 23 93 N/13 30.07 1 1/4 SNOW

I was just thinking about that when TWC showed the snow line racing SE into MS.

It is colder than the models are givint it credit for becuase of evaporative cooling with the snow.
