Another storm?

I'm hearing about another storm in the next week or so

3 dates I hear are the 21st, 24th, and 27th

any models going for it?

GFS has something on day 7---next tuesday.

NWS State College mentioned it in their morning discussion.

do you have tests those days you want out of? ;-)

21st is starting to come together, another storm similar to this last one, but much further north and slower to deepen, or so says the GFS. 24th doesn't look like anything much if I remember right, and the 27th is way too far out to put anything on, though I think I remember seeing the GFS with a decent low way off the coast because of a high that was a little too big to be real. So the 21st will almost certainly have some sort of system, and the 27th is a date to watch.

I'm hearing there also may be a pattern with enough cold air in place to allow another snowstorm

maybe we'll rack up the white stuff again 8-)

It'll certainly be cold enough at the beginning of the 21st-22nd event, though the low seems to pull suprsingly warm air up with it according to the GFS, enough to turn to rain up to Balt/Phili area. Still not buying that warm of a soultion yet, and neither is LWX. They keep the snow/mix line around Fredericksburg at the most northern point. Hope that turns out to be right . . .

Some people at work have been talking about a storm for around the 21st as well.

21st would be perfect. Planning on visiting Mom and Dad in Ct on the 22nd and they have the BEST sledding hill!! :D

TWC has been saying that a storm could be brewing for Next Tuesday and I hope it wont be as bad as last weeks one.
