1st Significant Snowfall for the Northeast(Specifically PA)
Someone give me some insight here, I am new and want to you ALL your opinons on the when the 1st Significant Snowfall for the Northeast(Specifically PA) will happen!!! Help me out!!

looks like a clipper system will pass several hundred miles north of PA -- bringing alot of snow to the upper Midwest again including Michigan and upstate New York......
But if you haven't noticed these systems are moving slowly and slowly at more southern lattitudes as we head into the the start of winter Dec. 22nd.
My guess is by the end of December -- sometime between Christmas and New Years given the past synoptic pattern that we have seeing and some extrapolation I have considered.

Which part of PA? Some parts in the western and west central part could get between 4 and 8 inches from lake effect beginning this morning and lasting through Friday morning. Areas around Pittsburgh (along the I-79 area) could get 2 to 4 inches. And finally areas up around the lakes area, could get anywhere from 1 to 2 feet of snow. It is all depending on where you live in compared to the snowbands and the snowbelt regions.
