Merry Christmas to you too!

I think it's too early to have a Winter Cancel.. last Winter I remember it being very warm for most of the Winter and then here in February we got 3 inches of snow, and then an inch of sleet one week later, which ended up being more than we had in several years.

I am beginning to agree with you. After a cold early December, we have been nothing but mild to outright warm and the next 2 weeks look the same just like last year. I want to have snow so bad.

i think its interesting that here in greenville we have had a rather mild december here recently and i have started seeing mosquitos again while deer hunting. They arent bad but the fact that they are out there is enough. Also of note we have had wind gusts to over 40+ mph 4 times here this fall and winter we gusted to 45 last night.Been sort of stormy but just not cold.I've lived here for all of my 31 years and i know that it only takes one storm tho and we can get a BIG snow over a foot easy we just need that 1 storm!

at least this time last year we were having those days with the cold rain with temps around 40...this year, other than the beginning of december, we havent seen much of anything...aside from wind, rain, and warm wx...

Each winter is different with different patterns. You will get your fair share of cold air... it just happened yet. Keep in mind we have been officially in winter just a few days and meteorological winter for less than one month. There is a long ways to go yet. I know it can be depressing but keep watching and waiting.

It felt like winter today. Low 40's, cold winds, cloudy and dreary. :jacket: We had mid 60's yesterday and will be in the 60's again by Friday though.

That's the problem, it quickly moderates.
