Midwest Clipper 12-4&5-07
Well the snow is soon to start with report coming in that it's already snowing in the Chicago metro area and northern suburbs! Anyone else around looking to be getting hit by this? Quite allot of snow being called for a clipper system.

Re: Midwest Clipper 12-4&5-07
we got almost 7 inches here in madison. snow-liquid ratios were a bit higher than expected, but i really think this clipper performed better than most because it ingested all the leftover tropical moisture from that storm that slammed the pacific northwest two days ago.
it's really pilin' up here, though. we've had just over a foot in the last several days, with two or three decent storms comin' in the near future. it's like december of 2001 all over again (hello la nina).
btw, wouldn't be surprised to see some thundersnow back in the plains with tomorrow's system - probably in northeastern nebraska/vicinity. should bring 3-5" for chicagoland, with 5-8 probable in much of iowa.
