Winter precip for the Carolinas ???
I see that NOAA is making some vauge references to the possibility of some winter precip in the Carolina's (GSP, Charlotte, etc) at the end of the weekend start of the week. The opinion with NOAA seems to indicate low confidence with this scenario. Any other thoughts out there?????

Been looking at that as well. GFS really on board, with some support. Run to run continuity seems to be the issue. Placement of the low and it's track will be critical. Check it again in the morning the 00 runs seem to be more aggressive with this feature. Euro needs to get on board. It is now in the forecast window so they will be careful not to sound the false alarm, but if it is coming, they will need to plan soon.

Some rain/snow now actually in the forecast for Saturday night and again Sunday night with lows around 31. More of a surface reflection as appossed to a storm to the point anyway. Keep an eye on the Northern Gulf. Does not appear to be any real big snow issue, but we may see some fall.
