End of January 40 degrees in New York?

There is a heatwave here in New York. February is coming this weekend and it is 40+ degrees in the Hudson Vallet region and I am sweating. Wow.

46 here. It was -17 only a few days ago. It will be back to -12 tomorrow.

Our heat wave was yesterday. It was 41 (after a morning low of -6); the warm before the storm and way warmer than it has been. It was the warmest day in 23 days. Now we're having a blizzard and you can't even see across the street.
