Severe weather Eastern NC

#1 Postby NC George » Sat Oct 22, 2005 3:14 am

Severe t-storm just rolled through Eastern NC. Several mesos on radar, at least 2 inches of rain at my location in an hour, flood warning in the next county, and I heard a sound that was enough like a freight train that I got up, went outside, and listened. Lightening strike knocked out power here for 1 minute.

Sounds fun. We had a severe t-storm at around 2 AM this morning...windy, rain, lightning, the works. Woke me up and kept me up, that thunder really seems to resonate down here, more so than I have ever heard before.
