Who stole fall?

#1 Postby vbhoutex » Mon Sep 26, 2005 3:08 pm

Houston is currently "enjoying" 101º temps in late September. :grr: :grr: We are about 12º above normal today. Fortunately there is supposed to be a front come through Wednesday that will take us down to the high 80's which is more normal for this time of year. Meanwhile those 400,000 in our area still without power are baking and they aren't using an oven. I am fortunate that I have power at home and work.

That was horrendous.

We're actually closer to normal now-a-days... 87 today I believe. That's pretty darn close to average. I suppose the cold front this year was just a teeny bit delayed.

I heard southerngale stole fall. I'm not sure what she plans to do with it.

Actually, even up here in Nebraska it is warmer than normal. We should be in the mid- to upper-60s, but we've been seeing temps in the low-80s.
