Can anybody please tell me why we are not seeing rain in the deep south? I am ready for cold weather and I am not seeing that either!

Muggy weekend here with temps around 80°+ - it's already 79° at 11am. Looks to be the same for the next several days, but we have a slight chance of some rain with the weak cool front STALLED to our northwest. But.....looks like a little cold air will finally reach the deep south by the middle of next week, with lows jumping from 70-ish Tuesday morning to 40-ish Wednesday morning! Image

Hope it reaches over there too!
