Highest and Lowest Pressure you've ever recorded

#1 Postby Jim Cantore » Sun Jan 22, 2006 8:22 pm

I only got my weather station on December 25th so..

Lowest: 984mb in a recent Noreaster
Highest: 1036mb just this morning (its at 1031mb now)

I've been in pressure down in the 970s in Hurricane Floyd and maybe in the 960s from the superstorm of 93 (which is beyond my memory)

990 mb
1045 mb
(During the past 2 yrs)

I love to watch the readings change when a boundary passes, everything from wind, temp, dp, bp. It's so cool.

I don't speak metric so...

29.62" during an intense Pacific low
30.43" or so during a large high pressure system
