Finally... a few hours ahead of schedule, not to say.
Hope some of this comes your way, Dennis!

Just amazing. My window faces the south, and it's sunny to the south. So when it all of a sudden started to rain I thought, what the heck is going on? So I go to the other side of the house which faces north, and the sky's completely black. It's amazing. Only 20% chance was forecasted today!
It's nice to see some convection these few days. Very minimal rains at best, but at least it's convection.

Wow, this storm is training just to the east of us, although we are still getting some light rains here.
Weird thing is we just had an earthquake. What's next? Tornado? lol
So far, NWS has been spot-on with their forecasts. Other showers are drifting off of the foothills and valley toward the coast to the south of this shower.

The weird thing is that this storm barely hit us. A few miles west or south and we would've gotten zip.
Rain is over now.
The other weird thing was that despite the lack of lightning, this storm has had a few "supercell" characteristics. Mammatus-like pouches are visible to the south, and a long tail cloud feature has been visible, though it's clearly weakening now. Just amazing.
