Now that Arizona got it's precip and broke their cycle without precip, can we now get some meaningful rainfall in Texas? Since Nov 1 I've had only .10 of inch of rain at my house on the norhtwest side of Corpus. So we are now over 100 days without anything worth shooting coming from the clouds. Fires are breaking out everywhere in the state and it was reported that in West Texas that 7 people lost their lives yeasterday. Our farmers can't even plant their cotton and grain because their is zero moisture in the ground! And the long term forecasts show no relief worth a hoot in sight.
This drought could be a big time record breaker if the summer turns out to be a hot and dry one. Any of you pro mets out there see anything promissing?
