Talk about unexpected! I wasn't expecting such to happen, and neither was the SPC! Yesterday afternoon, I was expecting mostly a hail event with a few wind reports and perhaps an isolated tornado. What happened to trigger such an outbreak?

Also we have the entire Easter Weekend to get through - this could be a 4 or 5 day outbreak!

Maybe this should be called the Surprise Tornado/Severe Weather Outbreak of 2006!

20th tornado and 2nd fatality reported in Minnesota...

NWS DVN accidentally screwed up the LSR and the Muscatine fatality got sent out by mistake as originating in Nicollett County MN -- there was no tornado in the area.
