Velocity is definately keeping the TOR while reflectivity is loosing it. Both should be useless next scan if this path keeps up, though. Going right over the radar site - sure hope it survives.

WOW, the velocity scan at KIND is INCREDIBLE right now! The storm structure shows up great. Check out that inflow! :)

Storm seems to be going pretty linear. Don't think it's going to produce any more TORs. It's a little too close to the radar site for me right now, thoguh. I'll wait until 10:30 before saying that for sure. Good news is that the radar survived that wind gust.

ASOS measured 86mph in Indianapolis, just a general location.

1" hail reported SW side of city, 1.75" reported in Beech Grove.

Yeah, it seems pretty outflow dominant now. SVR warnings tossed up for the counties south and southeast of the metro.

AT 1014 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL...AND
DESTRUCTIVE HURRICANE FORCE WINDS IN EXCESS OF 80 MPH. SIREN
ACTIVATION IS SUGGESTED. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR GREENWOOD...
OR ABOUT 12 MILES SOUTH OF INDIANAPOLIS...AND MOVING SOUTHEAST AT
55 MPH.

1"/quarter-size hail report from Greenwood.

2" hail report in Whiteland.

Estimated 60mph gust in Franklin.

All of these are on the west end of the cluster that is still rolling SErd

I was supposed to be in Indianapolis this weekend. We ended up not going because my mother developed ear infections in both her ears. Shoot!

Awww Mikey, you missed out big time. Indianapolis IN reported a record 1.55in of rain and an 85mph wind gust at the airport.
