I was expecting this. There are many blue tarps and people have had trouble getting the work done, unless it was minor (like ours.)

Insurance delays and lack of non-crook contractors and huge demand have made it bad here. I was worried about this season, particularly when the rains began (we are just coming out of our dry season.)

And sure enough...roof failures. No surprise here. We need another 6 months of dry season AND no tropical systems this year, but figure the odds.

What we need are insurance companies that pay out faster and more ethical (and just MORE) roofing people, but it's not going to happen. My heart goes out to those needing repairs. One more bad season and I think people WILL start leaving here.
