BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED
TORNADO WARNING
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TALLAHASSEE FL
751 PM EDT TUE AUG 8 2006

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TALLAHASSEE HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
WESTERN MILLER COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST GEORGIA
THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF COLQUITT

* UNTIL 815 PM EDT

* AT 748 PM EDT...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT REPORTED A TORNADO 6 MILES
NORTHWEST OF COLQUITT...MOVING SOUTH AT 20 MPH.

* THE TORNADO WILL BE NEAR...
COLQUITT BY 800 PM EDT...

IF IN MOBILE HOMES OR VEHICLES...EVACUATE THEM AND GET INSIDE A
STURDY SHELTER. IF NO SHELTER IS AVAILABLE...LIE FLAT IN THE NEAREST
DITCH OR OTHER LOW SPOT AND COVER YOUR HEAD WITH YOUR HANDS.

RELAY REPORTS OF SEVERE WEATHER TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN
TALLAHASSEE AT (850) 942-8833. OR...YOU MAY CONTACT THE NEAREST LAW
ENFORCEMENT AGENCY OR YOUR COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT. THEY WILL
RELAY YOUR REPORT TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE.

i'm really doubting that this was an actual tornado, probably just a look-a-like.

2.5 inch per hour rainfall with that squall line, on areas that have already seen 2-6 inches of rain recently, almost no doubt some flooding going on.
